The Democura Reader
The fax, the scanned chart, the handwritten form. The Democura Reader turns the paper that reaches a practice into a complete, structured record, and tells your team what is missing before anyone retypes a page.
What It Reads
Most of what a practice receives from other offices still arrives as pages: faxed, scanned, handwritten, out of order. The Reader is built for exactly that.
The Pipeline
Accuracy, Measured in the Open
Every version of the Reader is scored on test packets it has never seen, made deliberately hard, and scored only on what a perfect reader could know from the pages themselves.
Latest blind test
102 synthetic referral packets, 540 pages, clean and damaged
Synthetic test packets, October 2026. Earlier blind passes on the findings that block scheduling ranged from 76% to 100%. Real referrals will differ; the next test uses real, redacted packets.
People Stay in Charge
Anything the Reader is unsure of is flagged for a person, with the page it came from beside it. Nothing is scheduled, sent or written into a chart without your staff's review.
Built for Patient Data
Every test so far uses synthetic packets with no real patients. Before the Reader touches a real record, it runs in a HIPAA environment under a signed business associate agreement.
One Record, Two Halves
Everything that reaches a practice comes from one of two places: the patient, or another office. Democura handles both, and they arrive as one complete record before the visit.
